My purpose in life is to leave the world better than I found it. I build brands and businesses making products for the future across CPG, fashion, health and wellness, and tech.

act i2008–2016
A decade in New York, in an industry that hands you nothing. That is where the grit came from.
Parsons BFA, and work in the Parsons Design Lab: textiles, pattern, the runway show, and a Ford x Mustang collaboration. Four years assisting on shoots for ELLE, Glamour, Revlon and Sally Hansen.
Then a label of my own. Ready-to-wear, Saks Fifth Avenue windows, Amazon’s first Independent Designers programme.
I left because I could not answer why I was making more stuff.

Joe Fresh, then Lane Bryant: designing inside a $1B+ business repositioning itself toward a body-positive millennial customer.
Emerging business, designer collaborations with Christian Siriano and Prabal Gurung, and outlet. Hundreds of SKUs from sketch through tech packs and fittings.
Fellowships with the CFDA Elaine Gold Launch Pad and XRC Labs, mentored by IDEO, FJORD and Accenture.
The question that ends the act: why am I making more things people don’t need?

Eyewear made from the water bottles Flint was left with. Fifteen bottles a pair.
I built the brand, a supply chain inside a 188-mile radius, the factory, the workforce, a 475-creator programme, and retail in Madewell, Anthropologie, Shopbop and Ace Hotels.
VOGUE named it one of 56 brands changing the face of American fashion.
I closed it in 2022 on unit economics that didn’t make sense. That is the most useful thing on my résumé.

I run everything commercial at Kadeya. Brand, demand generation, sales, revenue, customer success, and the CRM underneath all of it.
A $32M inbound pipeline in twelve months. Twenty-seven stations on pre-launch deposit from Fortune 500 accounts. $1.5M raised across RUV, Wefunder and direct investor relationships.
At this size, owning growth means building it. I sat on factory floors with the people who use the machine to design the UX and UI across its hardware and software, and even its bottle cap, then built the lifecycle programme that gets the bottle back.
Alongside it: Joy & Ease Studio for fractional and content work, and a nine-week go-to-market course I wrote and teach at Parsons.

Work index →“Ali Rose has so many intangibles that VCs look for in founders it is hard to list them all. During our time working together, I was lucky to witness her vision, commitment, curiosity, selflessness, and incalculable EQ. She’s a dedicated servant and leader to whichever cause she is championing, and any organization would be lucky to be in her orbit.”
