Last summer I had the privilege of working in the inaugural Parsons Design Lab (aka "PDL") sponsored by Ford Motor Company and Conde Nast alongside four other undergraduate designers: Jack Burns, David Valencia, Jillian Mazzolla, and Felipe Salcedo.
We designed a collaborative collection that synthesized a group aesthetic through inquiry, process based research, and innovative design system thinking. The project was framed at the intersections of craft and technology, legacy and transience - in partnership with Ford Motor Company & Conde Nast.
This video further summarizes the project and allows an intimate look inside the studio and process giving a glimpse at what is possible through unconventional collaborations.
And to see the final product: watch our collection presentation and runway show at Highline Stages.
